COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
My interpretation of a traditional India Pale Ale, with a pleasant dose of bitterness and a fresh, fruity taste. Inspiring and exotic. Surprises with citrus notes and floral nuances and finishes with hints of wild honey and caramelized malt.

Join me on an exciting journey through the world of flavors.

Yours,
Stefan Sattran

Ausgewogenes, mild-fruchtiges Pale Ale ohne große Schwächen und Höhepunkte mit einem guten Kohlensäure Anteil.

03-APR-2015, bottle @home, from Kihoskh. Hazy orange with a huge, creamy, lacing, lasting head. Aroma is hops, spice, orange, wheat. Taste is citrus hops and Again very malty with wheat. Creamy, full body with moderate bitterness. Very nice.

skortila (4714) - Baarn, NETHERLANDS - APR 5, 2015
Bottled. 40 cl sample. The aroma has tropical fruit, grapefruit, pine, biscuit. Bit hazy, brown coloured beer with a thin off white head. The taste is moderate bitter with some, malty sugary sweetness. There’s biscuit, oranges and grapefruit. Quite some body for an IPA. It’s much more the malt bill for a big DIPA or even an American strong ale. Pretty decent stuff, but don’t drink it as an easy going IPA on a hot summer day.

craighill (35) - GERMANY - APR 2, 2015
Bottle (75cl) from drinks store. Amber coloured, clear, with white head. Taste is earthy hop bitterness with floral character on top of a sweet malt note. End effect is something like honeysuckle that almost, but not quite, strays into medicinal.

humlelala (1074) - DENMARK - APR 1, 2015
(75 cl bottle; BBD: March 9th 2016) Poured into original Maisel glass revealing a clear, golden body with frothy, three-finger head. Good retention and beautiful lace. Aroma is hoppy with so-and-so herbal notes. Oily texture, medium carbonation, medium body and a lightly bitter finish. Flavour is moderately bitter but with substantial counterbalancing malty sweetness. Too malty to be my kind of IPA.

Hazy yellow with light foamy head. Quite a strong malty aroma with some perfumey citrusy notes too. A bit thick and syrupy. The carbonation dies out quickly. Initially some peachy flavours but orange is more dominant.

Slightly hazy copper color with a stable head. Aroma grassy and a little sweet, possibly my sample is a little old. Taste a little oxidized and sweet. Not very bitter, palate vegetative and somewhat unpleasant.
