It’s dark brown and the head is creamy. The aroma has notes of caramel, roasted malt and a hint of citrus. The flavour has notes of caramel, malt, a light sweetness and a slightly dry, citrussy, light bitterness in the finish. It’s a smooth and pleasant beer.

MoritzF (7402) - Bochum, GERMANY - AUG 4, 2007
(bottle, bought in Hirschaid at Franky´s Getränkemarkt) Clear, mahogany colour with a mid-sized tanned foamy head. Sweet and a bit papery toast-malty aroma, slightly nutty with notes of cacao and a whiff of herbal hops. Sweet, almost a bit sugary flavour, toasty malty taste with notes of dried fruits and a touch of cardboard; light bodied with a moderate carbonation; sweetish, malt-accented finish. Not convincing.
