Clear golden colour with white head. Aroma has notes of malt, bread, daffodils, hop and violets. Medium body, bitter taste, astringent finish. Fresh walnuts and hop aftertaste.

Bottle. Yellow gold with a short lived frothy head. Aroma is sweet grain. Flavour is sweet with a light hoppy bitterness. Palate is medium bitter

Golden with a fairly large white foam. Aromas are biscuit and grain with peppery hops some metal.

Poured to a golden yellow beer with a slight thin head. Heavy carbonated and not very flavorful. Finish was slightly bitter that didn’t compliment the overall taste of the beer.

Bottle Bergish Gladbach . Pale gold with carbonated fizzy top . Grainy, grassy nose , gentle flowery character . Thin bodied , with clean sweeter malt side . Soft, but shallow at finish .

(Bottle 33 cl) Pale golden with a neat little head. Lovely fresh hop aroma, and the hops also dominate the flavour although this really isn’t very bitter. This may be a low-carb diet pilsener, but it’s actually a decent brew of good quality by any standard. 170101

(bottle) Pale golden colour with a small frothy white head. Breadish malty nose, slightly sweet with faint hoppy notes. Bittersweet flavour, crispy, almost medium bodied malty taste, dry, moderate bitter finish. Quite good for that sort of beer.

bottle. Clear yellow, mid-sized head. Hoppy nose. Hoppy-bitter flavours dominate, there is hardly any malty base. Having in mind it is a Diätbier it is quite good.

UPDATED: AUG 28, 2008 Bottled at Brauerei Schrüfer, Priesendorf, Oberfranken/Bayern. Pale golden, small head. Grassy ad grainy. Light bodied and without malt firmness. Hops are evident but a bit rough. Medium bitterness.

Bottle 50. Quite dry golden pils. Very bitter, hops, pepper and nut flavour.
