Bottle. Sparkling. Yellow colour, white head. Thin flavour. I guess it is OK for a low-carb beer. Hint of bitter aftertaste. Mouthfeel is OK, but the flavour is simply too boring.

Slight hops flavor, a little grassy, but overall, very plain, but for a Diät bier, its ok enough. Not worth seeking out, unless I had to, ie, what the purpose of Diät biers are for.

Bottled. Pale golden colour, not much head. Aroma is slightly hoppy, that’s about all. Flavour is salty and grassy hops. Not very pleasant. Also some metallic hints all the way through.

Pale yellow color, minimal head. Little body with skunk aromas and watery texture, some non-alcoholic beer taste, unpleasant grassy hopand fruits, dry aftertaste. In my opinion the diat beers are a separetad beer-style because of technologies, but this is a bad version of the style...

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!

Very slight hop nose. Straw color, slightly carbonated soapy head. Pivo is right there is a sharp bitterhop taste which is of balance with the light body. pitty on the poor diabetic who has to drink this.

Bottle. Well it sure beats Tooheys Maxim, but even so, its not that good anyway. Clean german flavour. Dry, slightly grassy and fizzy, with a hint of bitterness at the end. Not much flavour to speak of, but if diabetes ever becomes a problem, its a reasonable choice.

The bottle looks not too bad. The aroma is very fruity. The flavor not. Very sourish and dry, nearly like a non-alcohol beer. Terrible!

33cl bottle, Südstar FR. Maisel’s Diätpils reduced in calories, not ABVs? Always up for an experiment... Sulfury nose. Watery, protein-shake like texture with a rough cardboard edge and extra hop extract with no where to go. 75% less fermentable carbohydrates do mean 75% less taste... in many ways this is worse than a non- or low-alcohol beer, because it will take a papershake bite of 4.8% out of your daily ABVs without giving you any taste except mineral hop tea back.
