On draught at Prost! during the Mississippi Williams Pub Crawl for PDX Beer Week. Deep dark amber color in its curvy Maisel’s Weisse glass. Aroma is light banana bread and wheat sweetness. Taste is ripe banana, bubblegum, wheat, grass, and caramel. Full-bodied yet light mouthfeel. Finishes with a sweet banana bread aftertaste.

Thick tan head, hints of caramel, wheat, a lil sour after taste in my opinion, overall decent, not the beast in this category ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500ml bottle from Gourmond.de. hazy darkish brown colour, medium creamy off-white head, good lacing. Somewhat roasty aroma of banana, leather, cloves, herbal hops and a hint of chocolate. Taste is initially moderately sweet, slightly bitter and moderately acidic, turning into a bittersweet finisih with a slightly burnt feel. Medium to full body, oily texture, lively carbonation. Quite a pleasant dunkelweizen with some character.
