Purchased @ grocery store in Bremen, Germany. Bottle, much like the one in the photo with recycled marks and all. Pours a cloudy haze, but not very attractive. Decent white head, ample fizz. Nose is citrus; lemon, orange, grapefruit. Hints of grains and ample yeast. Fortunately no off-putting sulfur smell. Taste is citrus, and a mild bite. Again we see orange, lemon, some banana notes. Was waiting for a more rounding of the corners from the yeast. No other spices really apparent. Some grass notes. Not a bad brew but unremarkable all the same.

Absolutely delicious. I liked the cloudy appearance and the big foam it created. Somewhat sweet and very thick.

To me this is the mainstream hefeweizen king. The party bier. Great weisse, no doubt. Very citrussy nose, with slight banana notes. Appearance is as good as it gets – true to its roots; unfiltered, orangy pale color. Taste is citrus-ish, refreshing, not all that hoppy, but very drinkable. Always in stock at my place white foam, frothy, hazy, pale, amber, orange, citrus, banana, bubblegum, medium sweetness, lightly bitter, lightly sour, light body, thin feel, fizzy, soft carbonation, long finish,

Dark golden, big head. \fresh and fruity aroma, something with peaches. Also in the taste there’s fruit. Light to average finish, it’s nice but nothing special.

Draft @ John Bull Pub, Aalborg. Pours a hazy orange with a white head. Sweetish yeast aroma with coriander. Flavour is sweetish with yeast and coriander as well, and with notes of banana and plastic; the latter diminishing as it warms. Tart wheat finish. Decent but nothing special. 05-12-09.

0.5 bottle. Hazy orange/amber colour, rocky white head, average carbonation. Fruity smell. Mild, fruity, lil’ bit watery taste and body. Aroma’s like banana/citrus and yeast (Spreading softly in the mouth). Mild bittersour finish. Good drinkable Hw.
