Lots of banana esters in the nose, some old grain. Flavor continues with fairly strong banana, but the spicy clove helps things from getting seemingly sweet. Nice balance in the flavor, didn’t think it’d be spicy enough from the nose. Not getting the old grain in the flavor. Scant bitterness, dry finish with a little wheat. Moderate prickly carbonation with a medium body. Actually pretty solid, have never even heard of this brewery, perhaps a newly acquired import?

Orange color with 1 finger white head. Aroma of clove, citrus, feathers, orange peel. Taste is light sweet, light sour. Light body, oily texture, soft carbonation.

From an import shop in Itaewon. It poured a cloudy dark-gold, a yellowish-white head and a big banana aroma. The flavor was slightly watery with some spice & banana. It’s a pretty decent weizen. The head was really fluffy with nice staying power & good lacing.

Hazy orange color darker than typical weizen has. Perfect foamy and firm head lasting beautiful rings on the glass. Sweet banana aroma with pint of honey. Taste is also banana with honey additional some citrus, but without typical for weizens cloves notes. Palate is very smooth and pleasant. Nice refreshing beer. German hefeweizen it’s not my favourite style, however i’ts one of the best I’ve ever drank.

Bottle. Pours a hazy amber color with a moderate white head. Nose is a little yeasty with some citrus in there. Taste is actually pretty light and citrusy - really easy to drink. I’m so happy.

Bottle from Doener Bistro Leesburg. Pours cloudy and golden with an inch of white foam. Big banana and bubble gum notes on the nose. Estery on the tongue. Finishes clean. Very nice example of style.

On tap @ Doktor Malz. Buonissima weizen. Profumo di banana, lievito e qualche sentore di crosta di pane e di gomma nuova. Colore giallo scarico, quasi da blanche belga, che si scurisce con la sedimentazione diopo la versata. In bocca è di discreta carbonatazione , corpo quasi assente, ma nel retrogusto lascia la tipica pastosità delle birre di frumento. Il gusto è quello classico delle weizen, acidulo per via del frumento e ampio grazie alla generosa quantità di lievito non filtrato. Fresca e dissetante.

Light yellow color and thick white head that doesn’t last for long. Nose of banana and yeast, taste of the same with hints of spice, flower and herbs. A click over-carbonated. Awesome weiss.
