Bottle. Pours a slightly dark golden body, with a thick white head that diminishes, leaving a very good lace. Mostly malty aroma, notes of grains and hops. More interesting, citrusy taste, light bitter, with a medium bitter aftertaste. Watery-oily texture, thin body, medium carbonation. A fairly tasty, decent lager.

Bottle 0.5l from local market in Nafplio. Almost clear, yellow to gold colored. AROMA- malt, rice?, cooked vegetable. FLAVOR- lightly sweet, some odd flavors, cooked vegetable, malt, touch of instant hops. Medium bodied.

Terrible. Nice bottle, but never again.

From bottle in Greek restaurant in Calgary, Alberta. Typical looking lager with maitly, grassy aroma. I understand the patriotic choice of a blue bottle for a Greek beer but it’s also the best glass for promoting sun strike. Enjoy indoors!

500 ml bottle. (Cava Π) Athens, Greece. It’s called Blue Mak, although it’s not Makedoniki Syntaghi but Elliniki Syntaghi. I don’t know if there’s a difference. Clear golden colour with a small white head. Mild floral hops, sweetness, cookies and malt in the aroma. The aroma is very much English Ale. As is the flavour. Sweetness, cookies, mild hops and malt. Decent. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma is pale malts, carbonation, slight caramel and roasty malts. Taste is honey, dry European malts and bland hopiness. Appearance is a clear pale gold with a thin pearl head that retains fairly poorly.
