Review according to BJCP2008 guidelines (style 12B). Bottle 50 cl. Batch L028 18C. AROMA: roasty aroma with background DMS that overpowers. no hop, esters or diacetyl aromas. APPEARANCE: black opaque color with a thin tanned head with medium-low retention. TASTE: black malt character that finishes dry with a strong, overly burnt character. low to none bitterness with no esters or diacetyl. some DMS flavor present and no hop flavor discernible. PALATE: medium-low body with low carbonation. OVERALL: an overly burnt robust porter that lacks a bit of complexity and with DMS present. A good try nonethless.

Black color, opalescent. Pretty nice aroma of roast, chocolate and coffee. Medium sweet taste harmonizes with aroma. Dry finish with little bitterness. Best Maldita.

Bottled, thanks andregoncalves! Dark brown, small head. Aroma of coffee and caramel with a lemony twist. Mid sweet with light-medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Sourish caramel lingers in the finish.

Bottle thanks to Andre. It pours darkest brown with a medium light tan head. The nose is earthy, roast, toast, ash, light tobacco, alcohol and some caramel. The taste is bitter-sweet, roasted malt, ash, cocoa, cola, caramel, liquorice and some alcohol with a dry finish. Light-medium body and moderate, prickly carbonation. Not a whole lot of depth, but is pretty drinkable nontheless.

At CervejaRia from bottle. Pours a dark brown colour with a thick and persistent head. Hoppy but light aroma. Medium carbonation. A very balanced Porter, although not has bitter as I would like it to be. Although a nice beer.
