3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 SudsMcDuff (3213) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - MAR 26, 2008
Took ages to get the damn cork out, then i finally did, it spewed out all over my carpet and coffee table, drenching a harmless runner....Pours a sunrise dull orange...head is good, has healthy foam pool..Lacing is up to the task...Taste is alright, sweet and mellow, but maybe too mellow- seems to lack any assertiveness or true deep character!..could be very nice if more effervescent or i can see it being better on tap possibly?... all in all:
A nice easy beer that would be perfect for a novice or if you are in the mood for a small Belgian beer (that being said, the alcohol is quite well masked!)... good offering but.."seems a bit shallow and pedantic"

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 hotstuff (3213) - Indiana, USA - MAR 12, 2008
Corked and caged bottle with a best before end date of 01-02--09. Large fizzy white head that mostly diminished, spotty amounts of lacing, visible carbonation, hazy, and a yellow hue. Nose was spicy, sweet, malt, yeast, lightly and fruity. Flavor was malt, fruity, sweet, mildly vinuous, refreshing, spicy, and a hint of sourness. Mouthfeel was tingly and somewhat oily. Medium in body. The ABV was not over-the-top in the taste of this beer, it was easy and delightful to drink, worthy of a try, and hopefully this one will come my way again some day because I definitely enjoyed it.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 MrStitch (138) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 8, 2008
Bottle. Pours a nice golden color with a ton of white head. Aroma is sweet and spicy with a hint of fruit mixed in for good measure. Taste is much of the same but the alcohol takes over a bit. Its just strong enough to be detrimental to what could be an excellent beer. Though this beer is no slouch it could be a bit better if the alcohol were tamed down a bit. I think I might have to try aging a bottle to see if that helps.
