Pours a huge head that disappears slowly. Slightly hoppy, slowly aroma. Hoppy and flowery flavor, just a bit citric. Long very hoppy finish. I like the complex flavor much better as the aroma.

Slightly hazy golden color. Creamy, rocky lasting head. Tiny particles floating around. Aroma of sour yeast, doughy, spices, coriander, orange. Bit blond taste, not triple-like. Hoppy. Acidic palate.

Also very good, but not as great at the Malheu 12% (see rating). Sour dough-like nose. Hazy pale blond color and a lacy head. Juice-like tastes up front yielding to a fresh hoppiness in the end. Thinish, but a high quality beer.

Fruity orange aroma. Nice orange color with hints of green, leggy. Taste intervalls between hops and orange. Light bitter aftertaste. Nice.

Bottled. Pale orange and hazy. Rich complex orangey hops and apricot in the nose. Sweet, but strikingly hopy. Peppery with lovely depth and a lingering bitter finish. Real classy!

Very effervescent, to the extent that it gets in the way of the flavor a bit. Alcohol is somewhat harsh, as is the bitter spiciness, almost like a spicy lemon rind or some such. There is a decent sweet malt flavor under there, but I think it might take a bit of aging before this could be a really well-rounded beer.

This one is pretty carbonated too. Creamy head lasts and lasts. Melons, oranges, other fruit in the aroma. Spicy crisp finish. Can taste this in the finish of the Brut.

Nicely flavored, drinkable ale. Pours with a creamy head and an opaque, banana peel yellow color. Not as fragrant as some others (mine was past its ’best by’ date and probably lost alot of hoppiness). Sweet, juicy fruit taste w. very discernible alcohol presence. Notes of pears and vanilla. Finished crisply. Some mustiness which didn’t blend that well with the overall character of this beer, i.e. a hint of staleness.

Ok, I’m a sucker for big yeasty blondes, and there isn’t much better than a fresh Malheur 10. Blonde, with a strong honey aroma and taste, combined with a strong complex yeast and a little peppery spice in the finish. If not stored well, it deteriorates quickly - so don’t judge this beer too harshly if consumed far from its home.

Extremely effervescent, almost too much so as the pour becomes difficult. Nice spicy ale with a nice malty, warming finish with some sweet fruit, apricot?. Similar to the brut but perhaps a bit creamier and less crisp. Slightly darker color.
