Warning: Review of bad bottle. No carbonation! No "pop" removing cork, no head, and no bubbles. Aroma was very limited, but I got some yeast spice. Cloudy light amber color. Muted spicy Belgium yeast flavor. After-taste mostly alcohol.

Cloudy straw gold with a light head. Peach, apricot and other stone fruit aromas; rough and creamy on the tongue; sweet ornage marmelade in the beginning and finishes dry. It grew on me after a couple of sips.

Hazy orange pour from bottle with a huge white head. Aroma is fruity. Taste is complex and refreshing, with notes of pear, yeast, apples and white wine. Smooth finish. Really, really good!

Golden beer with big and blond head. Aroma is complex and exhilarating, lots of fresh fruits, yeast and herbs. Taste is also fruitfull, lots of peppers, herbal dry hops, some warming alcohol and overally taste is quite dry. With yeast flavours are more fruitfull, and peppery is more controlled, also alcohol is disappeared; definedly this beer is better with yeast. Medium bodied with lot of carbonation. Fresh and spicy beer, where herbs and peppers are on the stage, but still fruitness balanced to overall nuancees; tight, but tastefull beer.

Bottle at ’t Brugs Beertje in Brugge on 12-07-10 (3,25 euro). Clear blonde color with a thick white head. Solid, full body. Very strong pallet, the ABV is very apparent. Great beer overall.

26/12/2010 - 33cl bottle @ home

Note: the beer has been aged for over a year.

Cloudy dark yellow beer, white creamy adhesive stable head. Aroma: hops, spices, pepper, alcohol (hard to disguise). MF: soft carbon, full body. TAste: hops, sweet malts, spices and warming alcohol. Aftertaste: a little sweet, hops, pepper and citrus. Not bad, but a young version would not score so high.

Bottle looks simple, but good. Beer in the glass very zippy, huge head. Starts strong, a bit alcoholic-soapy, fruity like peaches. More and more spicy. Finish still soapy-sharp, still fruity. Nice!
