Aroma of light fruit but with some sourness from apple, cherries and white grape. Appearance is translucent gold with off white head. Flavor reminds me of a tripel but with a lemony finish; very cough drop like. Palate is bubbly. Strange lemony flavors threw this off for me.

On tap at O’Brien’s in SD. 10 and 12 side by side. Orange gold pour with solid head. Sweet Belgian on the nose. Big full mouth. Chewy. Smooth and sweet. Strong.

Semplice ma abbastanza elegante, una strong ale belga dai toni carichi e combattivi che più un po’ faccio fatica a mandar giù dio s

330ml bottle. A big creamy bubble of white foam on the initial pour but it breaks up and disperses quickly. Light orange in colour with a big fruity citrus aroma that fills the nose, along with some peppery notes. Long sweet flavour and warming alcohol that sits well in the mouth. Enjoyable toit and contemplate life with.

bottle. Highly carbonated, when I opened it I had to rush to the sink as the foam was gurgling out. Pours a very nice looking peach gradient, shades of orange and red, with a big white frothy head which as it settles forms small mountains and has nice lacing. Aroma of peaches, apricot, and a strong honey aspect, almost a mead like aroma. Thick honey like texture, with first a bite of Belgian spices, then a honey flavor, to finally a somewhat dry finish. I can’t emphasize enough that the honey is big in this beer, both in aroma and flavor, and it’s a good thing. Has a definite kick to it considering the 10% and although there is a sort of sharpness to the beer I couldn’t find any outright alcohol favors. I must say I quite liked this one, I can see how some may find the lack of softness offsetting, but I’m fine with intense, big experience this beer provides. Nice.

Pale gold with a thick white head. High bead. Mostly clear with a few particles. Orange blossom aroma with grass and cloves. Fruity sweetness has candied oranges, apricots and vanilla before striking drying grassy bitterness. Quite noticeable alcohol. No great depth but a nice firm brut Champagne-like finish.

Bottle from nelsons, south wim. Hazy golden straw colour, little lace. Very sweet honeyed yeast nose. Fizzy small bubbled carbonation. Sweet grass and honey flavour with a smooth bitter botanical finish. Well balanced.

Hazy gold with a great billowy white head, with rainbow colors spotting up on the bubbles. Nice slightly cloved spice aroma with a touch of souring and barnyard vibes. Easy drinking slightly watery body with a modest belgian complexity. Subtle spice and fruit are notes with a grassy, straw and pleasing sparkle to finish with an easy crispness. Solid for the style
