Bottle, thanks to Cole. Pours hazy yellow-gold, medium white head, spotty to good lacing. Nose is sherbet lemons, lots of spice here too, similar tpo the Piraat beers, but loads more going on here. Nice banana, lemon, pepper, ginger, malt, and lovely spicy/fruity esters from the yeast also. Flavours of spicy/sweet lemons, banana, cotton candy, rather sweet, very tasty. I’m not normally a fan of blonde Belgian Strong Ales, but I know what I hate. I don’t hate this.

Pours foggy orange brown. looks terrible. Nice head, aroma is nice. Banana malt and yeast. Flavour is great. Caramel followed by notes of red friuts finishing with strong sweet notes of dark fruits, raisins and plums. This is a great brew!!

33 cl bottle, pours a clear golden with a nice big white head, lots of carbonation, some lacings, aroma of malt, spices and yeast, taste is pretty much the same, decent finish, nice beer.

A little skunked upon opening the bottle. An aroma of strawberries, candi, and peaches emerges, but with little intensity. Milky yellow with a greenish hue, thick white lacing head. Hot funk with peach flavor. Grass and green banana finish. Not cloying, nor thick. Medium bodied, well balanced. Unique, not in a bad way, but also doesn’t bowl me over.

Sampled on 9/9/2010. This Belgian Strong ale pours a medium orange gold color from a 33cl bottle. Lots of suspend stuff in this bottle. Medium sized white foamy head with nice lacing and good retention. The aroma is fruity and sweet with some hops and yeasts. A medium bodied Belgian Strong Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet, lots of apricot and peach flavors. Bright yeasts. The hops are herbal and floral. Nice carbonation. I wonder if this is an older bottle, there is a whole lot of stuff floating around in this beer, but it does not seem to affect the taste any. Hides the alcohol well. Mouthfeel is ful and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Reviewed from notes. Tasted from bottle. Pour is yellow with a fluffy white head that displays excellent retention and lace. The nose is baked bread with candi sugar sweetness and Belgian yeasts. The flavor is yeasty with sweet pitted fruits, some bitterness, and a pretty intense alcohol burn. The body is full and thick with heavy carbonation and a long, hot finish.

Bottle pours a murky orange with floaties and a thick white head. Scent is citrus. Taste is sweet with a little booze and a dry finish.

Pours vibrant pale gold with lively streams of carbonation sustaining an impressive large white head and leaivng lovely lacing. Nose shows pears, dough Belgian yeast, soft spicy phenols and wheat. Very nice! Flavours are at first dominated by alcohol and sweet candi sugar. Later on some of the bready malt sticks its head out before fading into a solventy finish. Carbonation is stupidly high.
