Hazy orange with sediments and medium head. Sweet yeasty aroma with fruits. Flavor is malty, sweet, yeasty with corriander and apricot. Finishes of dry. Pleasant.

Cloudy golden color; big head. Quite poor aroma: sweet, corn, light malt. Malty, dry mouthfeel. Powerful, not impressive.

clear gold with lots of tiny bubbles, fine white head, sweet bready and spicy aroma, creamy body, lots of bready malt flavor, lots of spices, well balanced between a malty sweetness and the spices,

gusher, dark yellow is opaque with yeast bits stirred up by the gushing, frothy white head, lots of lace, same sweet spicy bready aroma and flavor, sweet bread flavor combined with the spices and creamy body is like a sweet spiced sponge cake,

Opaque light orange colour; thick, creamy head considering how much alcohol this has; aroma shows orange, melon, alcohol, spice (thyme, mint, anise); firm body; yeasty, malty palate, dry from alcohol, more fruit (apricot, pear). I love the yeast-fruit interplay.

Bottle at Paters Vaetje, Antwerp. Golden beer with thick white head. Taste is quite strong. Quite a light aroma. Some sweetish golden syrup, a little sharpness and then fine in mouth. Can’t taste the alcohol really, but the effect hits home. Strong golden barley wine which is a bit intense.

UPDATED: APR 14, 2007 (750ml bottle, labeled Malheur Millennium, BB 26/01/07) Bottle opened with absolutely incredible pressurization that mimicked a gun shot causing heads to duck around the room. Pours a cloudy orange body with a medium-sized egg-white head. Aroma of citrus (lemon, lime, grapefruit), apricot and mustiness. Flavor of malt, spicy yeast, coriander, and hops with a soft, creamy mouthfeel.

Unclear golden with fine lasting white head. Aroma and taste of yeast/fruits & spices. Warmth from alcohol.lively carbonation. Bubbly & sprinkly. Little sour bite from alcohol. Great lasting finish. Nice!

Bottled "Malheur 10 Millennium 2000", vintage 2004 - or at least cork says 2004 (BB 01/2007). Hazy yellow, floating yeast, decent white head. Aroma has lemon, honey, pepper, cork and alcohol (vodka). Very carbonated mouthfeel. Bitter and with alcohol burn. Some honey-fruity notes in the finish. Similar to Malheur Bière Brut (Reserve) but not as sophisticated, more simple and just too powerfully alcoholic.
