Clear light golden body with lasting head. Aroma seems a little sweet, pear, lemon and a little butter. Taste took a little bit getting used to for me but drank alright after that, pear and lemon, alcohol, bitter, light in body finishes dry. Got into it but not at first.

Bottle shared by bellportbeer. Pours a hazy gold with a long-lasting moderate white head that laced the glass very nicely. An incredible amount of floaties in this beer that seem to hang as if in suspended animation. Pleasant aroma of citrus, apples and sugar. The flavor is similar and is fairly sweet. Fairly strong alcohol burn at the finish.

Poured a hazy white with a two finger creamy white head. The nose was sweet, Belgian, yeasty, white pepper, phenolic, alcohol, curacao. The flavor was spicy, warming, fruity, white pepper, yeasty. Nice Belgian influence. The palate was very nice, very large prominent carbonation. Alcohol became very hot.

"Ok, bought this 11.2 oz brown bottle beer at my local bottle shop for an affordable amount, $3.95, never saw it before. Slightly hazy pale yellow. Good visible sparkling carbonation appears within. Gunk on bottom promotes a hypnotizing swirling show in the glass towards the end of the bottle. Pretty large creamy head even with a gentle pour. Sweet aroma and not alarmingly volatile for a 10% beer. Starts off friendly then evolves to a more strong taste. Fairly strapping alky bite but it’s tempered with a goodly amount of welcomed carbonation on the palate. You’d never think this was 10%. Makes this beer pretty interesting and I don’t like to be bothered with higher alky beers. Goes down fairly easy and is much more agreeable than many of the tuffer beers I’ve tasted. The taste progression is first kind, then alky impact builds and finally it levels off to an agreeable friend. Finish is non-assuming and not appalling for such a strong brew. Pours pale yellow with a generous sized white head. The aroma has white grapes and other light fruits, lots of yeast, very milky caramel flavors, sourdough and as much richness as cheesecake (but not the tastes). Medium / thin body that’s thinner than expected along with overly sharp carbonation. The taste starts over extra spicy with a bit of bread, booze, dry grapes and a touch of citrus. The finish is quite sharp and dry with bits of caramel. The flavor gets fruitier as it warms. A good beer, but not on the great level.

Wow. This beer was an awesome surprise. Lemony, citrusy, bread, and apple in the aroma. Superb malt flavor with a great sweetness to it. Lots of carbonation with some left over. Pours a slight hazy gold with color with lots of exuberance in the head. Great golden ale.

Pale gold with a light haze, nice carbonation. Aroma distincltly bready, not much else, looks like a yeast bomb. Flavor introduces some lightly peppery spice, more bread, almost straight up yeast, and faint bit of honey sweetness. Didn’t get any of the fruit characteristics mentioned by many others. Having said that, enjoyable overall.
