UPDATED: JUN 28, 2005 Hazy orange due to the massive hop usage. Extremely creamy head. Aroma of perfumey hops, rust, honey, alcohol, and caramelized sugar. This is absolutely bursting with complex flavors: particularly sweet honeyed malts. Do not forget about the full flavored hops that lend am unsurpased dry aspect. Overall one of the most underrated beers on the site.

750 ml. corked: This beer is unbelievable, especially for you alpha acid seeking monsters. Huge hop aroma, dry and bitter, creamy mouthfeel with the longest lasting head a beer can have. Has good shelf life, but tasted best fresh. This is one over the top, tail-kickin ale.

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden-orange body with a medium white creamy head and soft lacing. The aroma is strong of apple yeastiness, dough, and liberal spiciness. The flavour is extremely doughy and yeasty with some notes of sweet fruit and then leaving some sharp tartness. Very spicy and warm in the finish. Deceptively easy to drink with layers of complexity. The alcohol only shows up as it warms up. Very good. Sampled at Le Zageman, Brussels on May 9, 2006.
