Quiet a heavy beer for a blond beer. Bitter, something citrus, a little sweet.

Hazy amber color with the nicest pillowy white head. Really nice carbonation and creamy texture underneath. Aroma is pure Beligan ale with that nice pepper spice you get with Malheur. Apple fruit and just the right amount of sweet - which is just a tad up front. Nice floral hop emerges on the drying, slightly bitter finish. Very nice.

Honey colored and lively with bubbles. Meringue like head - tight with tiny, tightly packed bubbles which has worked it's way down to thick, lacy film covering the top of the beer. The aroma is outstanding - tropical fruit - banana, pineapple with a touch of cotton candy. Carbonation hits the tongue first. Buttery. Fruit and malt give way to spicy, bitter hops. Hop bite latches on the back of your tongue and clings there. Texture is rich, thick and coats my mouth. Very nice.

Smells like many Belgian strong pale ales, yeasty, bready with nothing in the way of hops. This is deceiving. Tasting it one gets the hops and the nice malt, but it is all very well balanced, with the hops drying out the sweetness, giving it a nice edge. There is certainly sweetness, but it is touched by lightness. There is not a trace of alcohol.

The nose on this ale is of fresh baked apple pie with a mild hop backbone.Flavor is mildly fruity and well structured. Pair with brie, blue cheese,or a manchego.

Pours a hazy light orange color and makes a fluffy white head that lasts. Aroma smells a bit like a barnyard, very yeasty and hint of banana. Flavors starts with spicy, peppery bitterness and then turns to sweet bananas, clove and coriander, alcoholic bite in the closing. Mouthfeel is creamy and smooth with a medium palate, has dense carbonation and finishes dry. So far, I have enjoyed every offering from Brouwerij De Landtsheer that I have tried, this one especially.

Active upon opening, but only forms a thin head in the glass. Thick sweet aroma of citrus and spices. Hazy golden yellow like melted butter. Fruity qualities up front are replaced with a spicy bite and a rounded hoppy finish. The alcohol is not disguised but not overbearing either. Good warmer on a cold night.

Hazy golden-orange color with a thick frothy white head. The head lingers for a good 5 minutes. A very rich and fruity aroma. The flavor is similar to the aroma, sweet, rich, and bubbly. Hoppy after-taste. A very crisp beer that is refreshing to say the least.

Very active on opening, thick head. appears cloudy with nice orange color. Taste fruity and citrus, I’m thinking orange because of the bottle color. For a strong beer not much alcohol flavor.
