First of all, a big thanks to my aunt who sampled me this beer. Pours out in a really lively yellow appearence with a rocky white head. Sparkling, leafy flavours of honey, banana, herbs and vanilla. Finishes long. Fruits of apricots, banana and peaches is dominating. Surpringly well balanced bittersweet aftertaste. All in all, a nice beer.

Golden, big white foam. Sweet aroma of honey with strong notes of pepper and leaves. Peppery flavour of honey and green hops. Quite bitter leafy aftertaste.

Gold, with a large, white head. Aroma is hops, spices, and some citrus fruit. Flavor is spices, yeast, fruit, with some alcohol. Decent.

Pale gold with a light haze, nice carbonation. Aroma distincltly bready, not much else, looks like a yeast bomb. Flavor introduces some lightly peppery spice, more bread, almost straight up yeast, and faint bit of honey sweetness. Didn’t get any of the fruit characteristics mentioned by many others. Having said that, enjoyable overall.

Bottle: Poured a golden colored beer with a nice thick head. Aroma is quite hoppy and floral. Taste is also hoppy and floral with a hint of citrus (lemon, orange) with a bitter finish. Alcohol is well hidden which I’m starting to believe is a Belgian miracle. Good carbonation with standard body. Makes me want to investigate more beers from this brewery.

330ml brown bottle. BBD of 25/06/09. Golden pour, lots of floaties and sediment in suspension. Small tightly beaded white head with brown yeast flecks in in. Light lacing. Sweet nose, some hot alcohol, citrusy notes, honey, yeast Flavour has some sweet alcohol up front, honey malt and caramel sweetness, orange peels. Dries out a bit in the finish, grass hop notes, yeasty. Moderate alcohol warming. Big mouthfeel, mouth coating, fairly high carbonation. Reminds me of a tripel at times. Although I’ve not had a fresher bottle, I’d say this aged well. Just don’t store it on its side - the sediment is very heavy.

A big, noise orangey brew with great head and excellent aromatic qualities. Incredibly light-bodied considering its powerful 10% abv punch. Certainly a smooth, tasty beer, but I’m not too crazy about the final finish -- do I sense a bit of pilsner in there? Fraid so, but you can’t take the craftsmanship out of this one no matter what. 12 is still my favorite Malheur, though.

33cl brown bottle. Pours a very dense golod color with a thick lasting white head. Early spicy character, very effervescent, alcohol notes, and pale malt flavor. Early hop presence, big carbonated mouthfeel with late alcohol fin the inish.
