Pours a deep golden straw color with a big white head. To me, this is very funky on the nose. It’s very citrusy (lemons and oranges), but there’s a moderate amount of "rot" to the fruit, which works well here. There’s some cloves, sourdough bread, and a slight hint of white chocolate. Deep earthy taste at first, but there’s more to it. It’s like a strong pilsner malt taste with more sourdough bread notes. A slight bit of pepper as well. Finishes with the same flavors, but slightly drier. The fruit comes back a little bit, but it’s not dry enough, and/or there’s not enough hops to this. It’s cloying but without the syrupy body that should necessitate cloying, so it feels off. Highly carbonated body, but it feels creamy and medium to light, while the flavor lays on the throat heavily. No traces of any heat. Good stuff, but great aroma.

Hazy gold pour decent lasting head. Nose is yeasty and sweet candied fruit with spices. Tastes exactly like it smells with a slightly thick chewy mouth feel. 11.2 oz bottle at $3.49. Decent brew

750 ml. bottle. Pours a large tiny bubbled medium lived white head, with attractive lacing, over a slightly hazy yellow gold (SRM 5-6) body....nose is pear, apple, banana, clove....taste is medium sweet to start, then complex flavors of fruit (apple, pear, pineapple) come in finishing with a light hop bitterness, sweetness lingers through.....mouth feel is light, the high carbonation dances on the tongue. This is a nice example of a Golden Belgian Ale. Almost Triple like in its complex aromas and flavors, but dodges it with a lack of heavy phenolic addition. This is a good beer. The empty glass is loaded with honey aromas. BJCP 8/3/13/4/8

Reviewed from notes. Tasted from bottle. Pour is yellow with a fluffy white head that displays excellent retention and lace. The nose is baked bread with candi sugar sweetness and Belgian yeasts. The flavor is yeasty with sweet pitted fruits, some bitterness, and a pretty intense alcohol burn. The body is full and thick with heavy carbonation and a long, hot finish.

(33cl bottle) Hazy, golden coloured and effervescent hue with a big frothy white head. Yeasty, moderately sweet pale malty aroma with grassy and slightly flowery hops, accompanied by traces of alcohol. Sweet and balanced bitter flavour, full bodied with a pleasant carbonation. Malty base with a pleasantly strong hops-character and a shy lemon-fruity note; dry-ish bitter-sweet, still pretty hoppy finish with bearable coriander- and peppery spice. Truly nice. (26.IV.09).

Bottled. Beer is slightly murky light gold with a large/huge, frothy, white, diminishing but lasting head.
Malty with light notes of toasted grain, cracker; Moderate (hint peppermint) herbal lemon—slightly vegetal; Yeasty with moderate notes of basement and barnyard, light note of dough; Moderate spicy alcohol, trace of vanilla extract.
The flavor is moderately/heavily sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter with a long, warm, moderately sweet, trace acidic, lightly bitter finish. Alcohol is very stealthy.
The body is full, the texture is velvety and the carbonation is lively.

Bottle. Pours with a nice hazy golden yellow color and a light head. Highly carbonated, almost fizzy but in a good way. Somewhat lighter body but great flavors of bubblegum, banana, bread, some peperrines and a bit of alcohol heat. Quite good.
