Pours a hazy gold with a decent size off white head. Aroma of citrus, floral, candy sugar. Nice sweetness, but not overly sweet.

Gusher at The Penguin in freshly acquired £1 La Guillotine tulip. Ridiculous, uncontrollable Himalayan pour towering with froth. Superb enticing fresh hop and yeast aroma, suggesting marmalade, oak, houmous and lemon/lime jelly. Shit. Can you wring this kind of citrus out of Belgian hops?? Spruce, marmalade and pale nutty notes like a GA eisbock; big alcohol, but savoury flavours that make it irresistable. Little bit of warm. Really balanced, well-hopped, unsickly tripel/BSA it’s hard to pick fault with.

Tasted at Extreme Beerfest. Lemony nose. Tastes like dandelions. Lemony yellow color with white head. Quite tasty, especially if you like lemons!

Bottle. Wow I thought this was a very nice experience. Huge white fizzy head which mostly lasted. Body was slightly cloudy with light particles. Hue was yellowish with a light orange glow. Aroma was quit yeasty with notes of sweat, mule, fruit and flowers. Some malty notes in the sniff as well. Aroma is somewhat different in mouth, where especially a nice liquorice note comes into play. Medium to full bodied with a warming alcoholic texture and an average carbonation. Flavour is moderated sweet with some bitter notes to balance it. Finish is nice liquorice and long lasting. Great beer!

UPDATED: JUN 5, 2007 750 ml Corked Bottle graciously shared by Zinister. Pour is cloudy golden with a wonderful fruity earthy aroma. Taste is really nice, very spicy Saison flavor with a nice big alcohol profile. I had no idea this was 10% when I was drinking it, oh my goodness, so smooth. Thanks again Michael, you are a great Ratebeerian.
