11.2 oz. bottle, pours dark reddish brown with a big beige head. Aroma of various Belgian spices, toasted caramel, some floral hops and lots of yeast. Flavour is complex - dark fruits (plum, figs, etc.), brown sugar, treacle and some molasses notes. Highly carbonated though not detracting from any flavour complexities or depth. Lingering palate of brown sugar, with a decent sweetness and booziness. Very solid.

Soft malty nose. Pale beige fast disappearing head. Clear dark amber/coppery red colour. Syropey tatse with some raisins, dark plums and some toffee. Warming alcohol.

Pours dark brown with a sticky beige head. Aroma has hints of caramel, malt and spices. Taste is quite sweet and complex with hints of raisin, caramel and syrup. Smooth and carbonated finish, full body. Alcohol is very well hidden.

Poured a deep brown color with a large foamy off-white head. Aroma has some alcohol with lots of grapes. Smells almost like wine. Some tart yeast notes as well. Taste also has lots of grapes and sweet malty flavors. Raisins and prunes also present. I would have liked some more yeast flavors. Alcohol slightly noticeable on the finish. Overall pretty good, but a little too much alcohol.

(bottle) pours a dark chestnut colour with a frothy beige head. aroma of oats, caramel and milk chocolate, slightly spicy, with hints of floral hops. flavour is quite sweet, but appropriately so, with notes of caramel and hazelnuts, prunes, grain and light brown sugar. medium to heavy-bodied with average carbonation.

Sweet... glorious... awesome... dark... beer. Were I a warlord, I’d demand tribute in barrels of Malheur 12.

Che birra, un piccolo capolavoro di malto, profumata, da fine serata; se avesse un design meno tamarro sarebbe meno sottostimata.
