33 cl bottle. Dark with little carbonation. Aroma: sweet fruit, raisins and alcohol. Taste: sweet. Palate: a little bitter aftertaste, overall wekk balanced. I like it but would like a little more carbonation and frothy head.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle, poured dark brown, cloudy with a huge beige head that dissipates quickly leaving a decent amount of lacing on the glass. The aroma is mostly dark fruit and alcohol. Taste is sweet, raisins, dates some spices and lots of booze. Enjoyable beer, not bad at all.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Mahogany. Beige had that diminishes quickly. Good lacing. Sweet and vineous aroma. Blackcurrant, red wine, dates and dark caramel. Sweet in taste with full mothfeel. Rhum rasins, red wine and caramel. Aftertaste sweet aftertaste of rasins and the finest port. No evidence of the high alcohol neither in aroma or taste.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Compared to other strong belgian beers this one is very spicy and boozy (too much) sweet taste with honey. Finishes with an odd bitter taste. Will not buy this one again although price is ridiculous

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A dark brown beer with a big and beige head. The nose is strongly dark fruity and nicely sweet, dates and raisins, honey, some lighter fruits, also some alcohol that indicates what is coming. Rich and dark fruits dominates the taste that is nicely smooth, sweet raisins, some spices, no alcohol. Taste is quite simple but balanced. Medium+ bodied that is lighten by high and smooth carbonation. Malheur 12 is better beer than I expected. Quite simple beer that is dominated by sweet and dark fruits but still balanced despites of huge alcohol %.

Flaske 0,33l fra Vinmonopolet, bestillingsutvalget. Drukket hjemme 16 Jun 13. Mørkebrun. Lavt, litt farget skum. Forsiktig prommearoma. Smaken er mandler. Bra balanse. Blir etter hvert veldig tørr. Mye kullsyre. Alkoholen godt kamuflert. Litt skuffende.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle Beers of Europe. Big fruity aroma, sherry and brandy notes, soft, warming palate. Its subtle in strength but big on flavour. Touch of dryness in the finish, but the overriding character is that big sweet flavour. Excellent.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
This one poured a hazy medium brown with a beige head. roma was of toast, brown sugar and belgian spices. Falvor was similar, fairly soft and dark fruity, hiding the alcohol pretty wel.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours dark ruby brown with a beige head. The aroma is dark ripe fruity, yeast, light acid and heavy malt. The flavor is ripe fruit, black berries, some tart berries, light herbs and lots of toasted malt. Very nice.
