Zlotta (280) - Bonn, GERMANY - JUN 16, 2015
0,33 l bottle from drankgigant.nl, bottled in 2014. Clear, very dark red with a huge, foamy, slowly diminishing, tan head. Pleasant, fruity-spicy aroma of raisins, dark cherries, blackcurrant, coriander and hints of caramel. Intense, very sweet and fruity taste of raisins, blackcurrant, caramel, nuts and hints of coconut, followed by a long, medium bitter and quite alcoholic and warming finish. Full body, creamy and slightly oily mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Very heavy, but the hoppiness balances the sweetness quite well. Unsurprisingly quite alcoholic but not unpleasant. Nice sipper.

Butelka, warka do 01-08-17. Wysoka, lekko bezowa piana, ladna acz szybko, mydlanie sie redukujaca, ale zostajaca cienka warstewka do konca. Piwo prawie klarowne, burgundowo-brazowe, niemal nieprzeswitujace. Klasa.

Biggish pale brown head. Clear reddish brown body with lots of little particles. Fruity bubblegum aroma with spicy licorice and herbs notes. Sweetish, and somewhat dry, seeds of paradise and fruit taste with bubblegum notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, airy bubbly mouthfeel. Sweetish spicy herbal licorice aftertaste with roasty earthy notes. A sting of alcohol lingers. A really odd beer. It in no way defends the 12% alcohol. (0.33l bottle, I forget where from.)

One of my favorite beers. Hoppy and malty, hard to describe, but I feel they mixed it perfectly.
