Complex taste of sweet caramel with honeylike touch. Alcohol is present like a touch of brown rum. I also taste some chocolate, clove and raisin.

Very strong but sweet ale with a bitter after taste. Lovely honey aroma. Smells very fruity and sweet. Ideal for cold winter nights.

Sweet, hints of caramel, raisins, and cocoa. High alcohol content is highly deceptive. One of my favorites. Delicious!

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 laiti (1000) - Tampere, FINLAND - JAN 7, 2012
33 cl bottle @ home, BBE 30.07.2013
Aroma is sweetish and perfume-like with dark fruits and brown sugar. Also some raisins. Flavour is rather sweet with lots of burned sugar, some toffee and raisins. Warming alcohol in the finish. Palate is a bit too high on CO2. Nice one, could be even better without the overwhelming sweetness.
