An orange beer with no head. The aroma is sweet malty with light fruity notes. The flavor is sweet with notes of coriander, spices, and nutmeg. The end is quite dry.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle, DBF 2004. Gold, thin white head and moderate condition. Low malt aromas with a touch of mouldiness. Grainy malt and faint funky mushrooms in the mouth. Slight bitterness in the finish but still those mushrooms linger.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Blond color. Light hoppy aroma (not bad…) but too simple flavor, quite poor, on the dry side.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Sampled from bottle at Danish Beer Festival 2004 (#26).
Clear light yellow beer with a small head. Aroma is sweet, spicy and malty with tones of nutmeg. Flavor is bitter hoppy and spicy with hay notes. Taste like a tripel and that is not my cup of tea.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bright yellow with a puffy head. Aromas of citrus and yeast. I got flovors of citrus, hops and yeast. At 5.5%, it was probably the light of the beers I had at the 'fest. Very drinkable.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Light golden color, excellent clarity. Nice floral, herbal aroma with low esters. Great crisp balanced flavor and clean finish. an incredible low gravity beer.
NOTE: I hearad a rumor that this was part of a batch that was mislabelled ans is actually the Manheur 6?

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
A very nice beer. Full bodied and flavorful with orange citrus, herbal, and bready qualities. Shows that a good belgian ale does not have to have a huge, or even high, ABV. BY the way, my bottle was fresh, with a best before date in '05.
