3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Allen (2469) - SWITZERLAND - JUL 20, 2010
Bottled 25cl. It pours a yellow beer with a tall, nicely remaining lacing white head. Very interesting and inviting nose with hints of mint, melissa, turkish delight, citrus, faint sweat, melon and rose petals. Reminiscence of a light tripel throughout. Yeast accented. Flawless and deeply pleasant. A great beer which is underrated in my opinion.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 hawthorne00 (1442) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - JUL 15, 2010
250ml bottle, 10C. Orange with a slight chill haze, large frothy white head. Aroma of spiced orange zest, band-aids and damp soil. A little pale malt fruity sweetness rapidly overtaken by very dry citrus and spice. Austere - I kept waiting for the fruity malt to open up as it warmed, but it never did.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 KyotoLefty (3762) - Kyoto, JAPAN - FEB 1, 2010
250 ml bottle.
Medium gold color with a low head. Malty, fruity aroma. Plums and pears. Light pilsner malts. Also something slightly hospital-like. Or paint thinner. Some hops in there too. Malty, sweet flavor. Rich cereals. A bit fruity. Grapes. Rather dull, but drinkable. Smooth and inoffensive, but not really sure what they are aiming at. Needs more hops for sure to be a good Belgian style light ale. It may be a bit too old, though. Drink by next Oct., but that means a few years past its best hop flavor.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 dEnk (1843) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - JAN 31, 2010
Golden pour, medium soapy head, quickly dissipates.
Aroma of malts and sharp hops, some lemon/orange peel.
Full hoppy aroma with fruit and spices, lots of carbonisation.
Quite sharp.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 piscator34 (1646) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - DEC 25, 2009
Bottled sample via lubiere. Blond in colour with a bit of haze and strong carbonation. Aromas are of pilsner malts, damp earth, yeast and mild sweet citrus. Sweetish pilsner malts and apricot lead the way in the mouth along with notes of herbal+earthy hops, wildflower honey and spicy yeast. Light bodied fruity finish. Fading a bit, but some life left. Not bad overall
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Nate (3093) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 19, 2009
From bottle. Sweet pilsner malt aroma with a lot of citrusy and slightly acidic tang in the nose. Good hoppy quality, with some yeasty esters and mild gaseousnes. A bit of bitterness, too. Hazy medium yellow-amber, topped with pillowy foamy white lacing head. Medium bodied with heavy carbonation, fizzy. Starts fairly sweet with light pale sweet malty flavor, sugar, mild citrus acidity, yeasty funk, and a bit of hop bitterness. Light spicy notes, too - a bit of clove. A bit heavy on the tongue but really drinks easily. After is sweet and a bit fruity with some residual bitterness and a bit of chalky character. NIce Belgian ale.
