COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In a country with beers named after the Devil, or called "Sudden Death", one called "Misfortune" (Malheur, in French) is just another wry jest. The beer itself is no joke. On the contrary, it is an inspired beer. Malheur is made in a new, revivalist, brewery.

Bottled. A pale golden beer with a medium beige head. The aroma is sweet and very fruity - especially citrus fruits, but also with dusty notes of hops and yeast. The flavor is sweet with strong dusty hoppy notes combined with medium notes of fruits - again especially citrus fruits making quite refreshing, it also has hints of yeast before a dry and slightly spicy end sets in. The body is thin - but afterall it is a Belgian light beer ;-)

(Bottle 33 cl) Pours a slightly hazy, pale amber with a tall, dense and lasting white head leaving laces. Aroma of pale malts with a whiff of yeast. Medium body with a light fruitiness and some yeast. Dry, light bitter finish with a touch of diacetyl. A very pleasant "Blonde" with no flaws. 040207

33 cL bottle. Pours slight hazy orange with a huge white and collapsing head. Faint grassy aroma, mild yeasty note and a light citrus fruity note too. Flavour is light citrus fruity with a mild malty base towards a light pilsner grassy flavour. Holds a smooth and light belgian yeast note. Very light compared to the bigger brothers of this brew. Ends with a mild lingering yeasty spice note. Refreshing.
