Oh, this is a nice way to end thy day. Sweet, creamy and a bit of wheat to it, like a fresh baget. Nice balance, light and beautiful to look through.

Aroma of citrus, bit yeast, grain and spices. Spicy and dry taste, bit crisp, quite yeasty, some citrus. Cloudy yellow color, big white head. Well balanced, but nice ale.

Pours golden with a medium head. Aroma is quite peculiar with some malts and something sweet I can’t put my finger on. Flavor is on the same tracks. Very nice, but impossible to describe.

Good beer for a hot day. Complex but not over the top. Enough alcohol to satisfy and enjoy many bottles

Happy Birthday Trappist Ale Rules’ This beers for you. Re-Rate 08/27/02: I stashed this beer away 2 years ago today as the world renowned ’Beer Expert’ Michael Jackson said. This beer after aging for a year, or even better yet two years increases in flavor, complexness, ’yada yada yada’.
Well ’Mikey Baby’ let’s see. The pour is a clear amber, the head is off white, the lace in thick sheets to coat the glass. Nose is deep malt, citrusy, brandyish, a tad or hint of bubblegum, sweet. Front is sweet, the top is light, the finish is quite acidic, very dry, and a nice hop bite, also a hint of fusel alcohol in the moderately bitter aftertaste. Ranks a respectable #280 on my current 1000 beer list.

Difficult to classify: triple? golden ale? something ele entirely? Who knows, but I still really enjoyed this ale. Light, fluffy body and yeasty nose and flavors, and a great bottle-conditioned twang.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Allen (2469) - SWITZERLAND - JUL 20, 2010
Bottled 25cl. It pours a yellow beer with a tall, nicely remaining lacing white head. Very interesting and inviting nose with hints of mint, melissa, turkish delight, citrus, faint sweat, melon and rose petals. Reminiscence of a light tripel throughout. Yeast accented. Flawless and deeply pleasant. A great beer which is underrated in my opinion.
