3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Straw yellow body, medium tall foamy head. Pungently perfumey and hoppy aroma. Sweet minerally taste with coriander and sugary sweetness. Body is on the thin side. Pretty simplistic. Finish has a somewhat dry hoppiness. Pretty good but nothing groundbreaking.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
0,33L bottle (from Wine of Galilee), BB 13.02.16. Pours golden with huge white head. The head stays. Aroma is dry, spices, fruits, yeast. Flavor is sweet and bitter, spices, citrus, yeast. Finish is citric bitter. Alcohol is well covered. Overall: I guess if you like the spices, you’ll like the brew. I enjoy them, hence very good rating.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
The dark Malheur 8, tasted from tap. Warm bronze to chocolate colour with moussy head, fruity aroma of peach, pear, pineapple, toasted bread and dark chocolate. Sweetish caramel taste, fruity, drying up towards the end and finishing in a toasted bitterishness, a bit coffee-like. Typical Scotch-style beer though Belgian brewers usually hesitate to use this obsolete term. Very decent, like all of the Malheurs.
