Tutto molto classico bsa, con aroma molto sweet, e spicy, in bocca la nostra è molto corposa ed ha un bel finale secco e deciso.

330 ml bottle drank at Le St. Bock in Montreal, on October 30, 2010. Misty pale blonde, good head. Malty aroma of citrus, a bit hoppy. Spicy citrus flavor, with malted licorice notes, aftertaste of bitter herb. It’s very good, far from being a Malheur!

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
The bottle looks okay, the beer in the glass very zippy, huge head. Starts a bit washy, shows sweet-spicy notes, also a bit fruity. More and more soapy. Finish still mild, a bit moldy-grasy. Not bad at all!

Bottle tasted at l’Autre oeil. Slightly hazy blonde with a tick creamy white head with great retention. Aroma is fruity with citrus, herbal notes, belgian malt and alcohol. Flavor is very fruity with citrus, figs, mango, sweet belgian malt, yeast and alcohol. Very good.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle: Golden, hazy, some floaties visible, persistent creamy white head; fresh sweetish and tart fruity nose: oranges, orange-peel, lemons and traces of yeast; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium to full bodied; balanced sweet and tart fruity finish with some alcoholic traces. Quite a pleasant brew....

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
330 ml bottle. Drink by Dec 2010.
Deep gold color with a tall, meringue head. Medium rich golden malt aroma, a bit of honey, citrus, and apple. Settled flavor, not very sweet, but with a tinge of honey. Strong hop bitterness and subdued, over-ripe figs. Lots of fresh figs. Some pineapple too, after adding the yeast. A bit of alcohol left. Dry, subtle, tasty. An original and interesting brew. Extra points for truly original flavors.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
From bottle. Sweet grain aroma with honey and orange peel, mild yeast and a light tang. Pleasant nose on this with some light candi sugar. Golden yellow clear with thin white foamy lacing head. Medium body with medium-high carbonation. Starts sweet with lots of candi sugar, mild carbonic acidity, a light chalky finiah with sweet after taste and underlying chalky bitter character. Bit of citrus in there, too. Nice ale.
