3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle, Belgium, May 05.
Head is initially large, frothy, white, mostly diminishing.
Body is hazy medium yellow, bottle conditioned.
Aroma is moderately malty (toasted grain, bread), lightly hoppy (flowers), lightly yeasty (cobwebs, mold), with a hint of honey.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter.
Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic.
My notes don’t mention where I found this, but I’m pretty sure it was at the Hotel Centrum in Beersel. And yes, it’s bottled, and 8% as you’d expect, not 6.5%.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: JUN 13, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) Orange golden hazy ale with an impressive "shaving foam" tall and stable head. Some malt, but it’s the extreme hops, that really characterizes this beer. A bitterness that lasts all the way to the palate. Impressive number of Malheur variations, that De Landtsheer produces. 071104

Light-amberbeer with orange shine and thick white head. aroma’s of fruits, biscuits, yeast, spices and a vegetal hoppyness. Taste is smooth with an elegant fruityness and some malts and spices. In the end there is a nice dosis of fine hops.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Light golden coloured. Clear. White dense head. Is fruity, sweet and spicy. Has yeast notes. Flavour are a little vague, which draws down for me. Still a genuin and very drinkable beer.
