   AROMA 10/10   APPEARANCE 5/5   TASTE 9/10   PALATE 5/5   OVERALL 19/20
corkyrory66 (549) - BELGIUM - NOV 10, 2013

330 ml bottle drank at Le St. Bock in Montreal, on October 30, 2010. Misty pale blonde, good head. Malty aroma of citrus, a bit hoppy. Spicy citrus flavor, with malted licorice notes, aftertaste of bitter herb. It’s very good, far from being a Malheur!

Dark draught beer. refermented in the cask which gives this beer a hazy appearance. Nice foam head. Hoppy aroma. Malt/hoppy taste which is in perfect balance. There is a longlasting hoptaste but absloutely not aggressive. this is absolutely this typical hoppy character which is detectable in all of the malheur beers from bry. De Landtsheer. I loved it alot and is one of my favorit belgian draught beers.

Draught @ Zythos 2009. A little hazy yellow colored beer, with a thick white head. The aroma is malty with hops and fruits like orange. The taste of dry bitter hops, with malts, notes of fruits and flowers. The aftertaste has some bitterness.
