Hazy yellow with a very tall head, good retention. aroma is very citrus, dry and slaty. Very rich and full flavoured good body, very yeasty and fruity with notes of wheat. Smooth drinking. Hides the alcohol very wellfinish is very very dry almost like a champagne. So dry this beer should be asking for its own beer.

750ml Bottle (Best by 6/30/08. Hopefully it is still good on 11/24/09): Aroma of yeast, slight Earth, slight grass, Pils malts, and a hint of herbs. Gusher! Poured yellow in color with a huge, foamy, loose, white head that lasted throughout. Cloudy. Sparkling to very sparkling. Full of small and medium-sized particles throughout. Excellent lacing. Flavor is slightly sweet. Tastes of yeast, slight grains, slight pale malts, and hops. Medium to full body. Tingly, then lightly dry texture. Average to lively carbonation. Lightly sweet, yeast finish. 11%ABV is completely hidden throughout.

Yellow-blonde in colour with small white mousse. Some yeast in the aroma, with malty touches, alcohol and some citrus. Taste is mild with a dry alcoholic warmth. some sweet malts and some flowers in the nose. the beer seems a little to thin for the alcohol.

750 ml bottle shared by Tmoney99. Pours a hazy lemon yellow color with a large bubbly white head. The aroma is grainy malt, mild yeastiness, fruity (citrus, peach), floral, and sugary sweetness. The flavor based around the grainy malt was sweet fruity, yeast, peppery spices, floral hoppiness, candi sugar, and a tart acidity. This was an interesting beer, but I did not care for the finish. The alcohol was present at times and a bit distracting.

15cl sample from 75cl bottle at 3rd Brugs BF. Hazy golden yellow colour, white head. Aroma of the typical Malheur flowery/yeasty smell, fruity, some sweets and lemon. Flavour is sweeter than the Cuvee Royale, fruity, floral, dry, hoppy bitter finish with some sweetness. Medium bodied. Rather nice.

"Drink by 31 August 2010" on the bottle. Fresh, fruity aroma, citrus hops, pine, Flavor of citrus and melon, light pilsner malts, honey. Very lemony. Sweet, yet alcohol, bitter, and tart balance it perfectly. Spritzy champagne-like palate. Light and bubbly. Great beer. Classy and fun. Not twice as good as some others that are half its price, but great.

Bottle: Poured a golden color with a nice amount of head. The aroma was yeast and grape. The flavor was like champagne with more yeast. Overall, a real quality Brut, great for a New Years party if you don’t like champagne.
