750ml shared by CaptainCougar. Light straw yellow color, hazy and creamy in appeartance with a creamy white head. Moderately heavy alcohol in the nose, but inviting and enticing, very bright and sweet in the nose, perfectly presented, delicate yeast, crystalline aromas of sugars, just wonderful. Sweet up front, yeast flavor hits the middle, it’s birght lemon, alcholized wheat, crisp and lightly drying in the finish. Wonderful.

750mL bottle, courtesy of CaptainCougar. Thanks, Tom! Pours a bright, hazy golden color; bright white, lemony-tinged with great retention (barely dissipates) and creamy, foamy lacing; a great pour. Lots of yeasty, lemony goodness in the aroma; complex yeast, dry mustiness, and some honey-laden sweetness; touch of acidity; great nose. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: chewy, creamy yeastiness and vanilla notes; lots of honey and Belgian sugars; creamy presence in the mouth; nice blend of lemony notes, acidity and complex yeast; great Belgian strong. Gorgeous beer. Lengthy finish: complex yeast, citrus acidity, and dry, toasty doughiness and crackers.

Courtesy of CaptainCougar. Hazy pale/yellow body with a small white head. The nose is golden fruits, cotton candy, honey and flowers. The flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter with lots of floral/herbal hops, cotton candy, light doughy malts and pears. Medium body is round with moderate carbonation. Finish is long with lasting floral bitterness.

Bottle at Århus Ølfestival 2008. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma of citrus and yeast. Flavour is fresh, citric with yeast and sweet in the end. Very nice and balanced.

2006 Michael Jackson comm. bottle. Hazy straw color, huge white fluffy head. Smells very citrusy and acidic. Lemon flavor, not too acidic on the tongue. Not my favorite style, but servicable enough.

750ml bottle, dated 1/1/08. Pours a hazy yellow-orange with small floaties and a lovely, endlessly fluffy pure white head with lattices of lacework. Intense saaz hop aroma, with an underlying rich but subtle honey malt tone with some citrusy dryness. Massive velvety mouthfeel with a flowery palate, chalky yeast, biscuit malt, and a perfumy hop finish. Alcohol is worringly well-hidden. Only a slight metallic note detracts due to it being slightly past its bottle-date. Overall though a very nice strong ale.

(Bottle) Pours a light hazy golden colour with a white head. The aroma is very fresh and floral with spicy tones of white pepper and maybe a touch of coriander alongside some fruity notes. Bit perfumey on the nose with undertones of roses. The flavour is light spicy, light hoppy, light floral and light fruity. The mouthfeel is dry and champagne like. Very elegant and well balanced. Medium bodied.
