750 ml bottle shared with MartinT, tiggmtl, Rastacouere, beerbuzzmontreal and Yowie. I loved the 10, I was blown away by the Brut Noire...would this hold up, or disappoint. Anticipation! The pour: a forever-lasting creamy snow-white head atop a light translucent gold body, with sheets of thick lace. The aroma: acerbic, sour yeastiness, wild flowers, sourdough and dogwood, touch of lime and orange....powerful. The flavor: sour, barnyardy, mineralic and pungent, lightly grapy, tough and challenging. The palate: granite-edged fluffiness, light and clean and at the same time rustic and outdoorsy...an insane description I know but I’m just not sure what to say, it’s that good and that unusual. The body is "hard" and "tough" in that it supports such a complexity of flavors and aromas...yet it is pillowy-soft, enveloping and luxurious, champagne-like but smoother and creamier. The end result: a masterpiece, my favorite yet from this brewer, and I feel like I am underrating it. I need a whole bottle for myself, soon!

Hazy golden, big Duvel-like foamy head, lace. Complex aroma of champagne, lemony woody hops, eau de Cologne, frozen strawberries and fruits. When it warms, also some barnyard and horseblanket. Medium-bodied. Hoppy bitter and alcoholic. Semi-dry fruity white wine -like palate. Warming, good balanced tripel with extra alcohol, peppery spicey in the finish. I agree with my friend sayravai: much much better than Deus.

golden beer with a huge head which settles to a yhin layer. aroma: funky yeast, citrussy. taste is where this really shines: lovely funky brett yeast, spicy, and a bit fruity. wonderful hop and malt profile, sweet and bitterish. finishes sweet, fruity and bitterish. full bodied and alc. warming. very tasty saison-like champagne beer. but beware not to drink this one too quickly, gets you drunk in one glass...

Pours with a golden body topped by a thick head with a good amount of lacing. It’s sweet, slightly malty, slightly fruity and a touch spicy with a little candy sugar. Medium bodied and warming yet smooth.
