Notes from 4 ounce sample from bottle at Pizza Port Belgian Beer Fest in March 2009 where it was labeled "Michael Jackson Commemorative Brut." Pours a murky yet bright yellow. White head composed of very small champagne-like bubbles. Complex aroma of leather and citrus. Equally complex taste that is both sweet and sour with flavors of caramel and fruit (lemon and grapefruit). Nicely balanced.

WOW!!! Massive pop when bottle is opened. This is so hard to pour I’m trying as careful as I can but I got 8” of head and a ¼” of beer. This super massive cap a stupidly long lasting power, body is golden and slightly hazy but still relatively clear for the style. Aroma is sour with slight apple and some very noticeable alcohol. Sour wheat and a light sweet taste, noticeable spice with a flowery alcohol finish. Very fruity tasting built on a wheaty malt back bone. This is very light and drinkable but not all that memorable but this might be due to the fact I’m completely wasted after finishing this giant ass bottle.

Botella. Unclear thin golden colour with lots of nice bubble and a beautiful big creamish bubbly long lasting white head. Cellar like bit mouldish, yeasty and fruity sweet aroma. Pleasant mouthfeel. Yeasty, fruity, sweet, bit mouldy pleasantly bitter dry and spiced flavour. Yeasty cellar fruity finish.

Big coarse white head doesn’t last. Hazy yellow body with floaties. Fruity mango and Belgian yeast aroma with metallic grassy peppery notes. Intense tropical fruity (mango, banana and honey melon) taste with peppery grassy alcohol notes. Light, delicate palate. Mild mouthfeel with alcohol heat. Dryish herbal grassy aftertaste with metallic hoppy notes. Excellent! Light, drinkable, not too sweet. (0.75l bottle, wine monopoly.)

750 ml corked bottle. Everlasting thin white cream head. Lightly hazed deep yellow-golden colored, lively carbonated body. Predominant aroma of fruity Belgo-yeast with mould and cellar notes, a faint spiciness and a distant whiff of sweetish pale malts. Taste is wheatish, spiced and yeasty. Some fruitiness, sour-acidic and dry. Inviting mouthfeel, with a champagne-like carbonation. Strong body. Nice hoppy finish. Not top end, but definitivly a very enjoyable Belgian.

Bottle at Belgian Beer fest 2009. Listed as Michael Jackson commemorative Brut 11%. Huge head. Sweet, but high carbonation gives the illusion of dryness. Yellow amber color. decent.
