Bottle. Golden beer with an off-white head. Dusty, bready aroma with yeast and light fruitiness. Yeasty flavor with light summer fruits and some breadiness. Very mellow. Medium bodied. Bread and yeast lingers with some light fruit. Creamy mouthfeel. Subtle.

Bottle at ’Cole’s Rare Beer Fest’, Buffalo, NY. Pours a hazy yellow-gold with a long lasting frothy white head and good lacing. Nice yeasty aroma, biscuity and floral too along with some citrus fruit. Flavour’s sweet and yeasty, quite bretty along with fruit and light hops and spices in the finish -- tastes great! Refreshing! Alcohol’s well hidden. Good body for the style, well carbonated. Fantastic stuff!

Bottle at Cole’s Rare Beer Fest, Buffalo. Strong yeasty aroma with some alcohol and lemon. Strong taste - sweet, yeasty, great lemon in finish. No alcohol at all in taste - dangerous. Well carbonated and with this lineup of heavy hitters, it was refreshing! A very good strong Belgian Blonde.

750ml Bottle at Coles Rare Beer Fest 2009> One of my favorites if not the favorite. Im just a sucker for Belgian blondes, though. Pours a light gold with lots of tiny bubbles. Dry like a champagne brut but much tastier. Floral with some fruitiness. The most easy drinking 11% beer ive had. My new 12/31 treat every year

Bottle (750ml). At Cole’s Rare Beer Fest, January 2009. Bottle marked best before January 2008, but it was FINE. Clear bubbly light gold with a large and lasting fizzy white head. Dry and floral aroma, quite tart, with pineapple and yeast. The taste was dusty-dry (like a very dry sparkling Spanish wine), with unripe pear, acidic and somewhat floral in the finish. Very lively and light mouthfeel, acidic, somewhat alcoholic - very nice, would drink this instead of champers.

A little hazy golden colored beer, with a thick foamy white head. The aroma of fresh fruit like citrus and peaches. A little sourness. The taste is sparkling fresh, fruits like citrus and grapes with a little orange. Also a little sourness with some bitter. There are some notes of hop and caramel. The aftertaste is bittersweet and fruity.

This may have been the most I paid retail for a beer in 2008 ... was it worth it? A champagne style Saison like Golden Strong, brut, bubbly and very dry. Slight earthy, noble hops and biscuit notes in the nose. Biscuit and slight hoppy earthiness up front, then with pear, apple and slight bubblegum esters throughout the middle. The finish ends dry, bitter, and delicious.
