Pours sort of like a wit, pale hazy white with a crackling white head. The nose was sharp and strong, alcohol shows up, spicy, some oaky characters, yeasty. The flavor is also sharp and spicy, alcohol is present while not being overwhelming. Nice oak and yeast characters show up. Spicy carbonated palate. The Etruscan (306), Tuscany, Italy

Hazy yellow color, big foamy and lasting white head. Aroma is fruity with citric, yeast and all that Belgian stuff. Flavor is fruity, malty, moderate sweetness wtih warm alcohol and a dry finish. Fine carbonation. Very nice, but a bit short. The cork did the champagne-job all the way to the roof, and luckily didn´t hit anyones head one it´s way down. blutt59 (2099), Dallas, Texas, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 4, 2008 Pours a classic light honey amber with an effervescence like I’ve never seen in any beer. It pours like a champagne. Head is huge - even with a *very* slow pour it took a while to die down. Aroma of citrus, nectarine, yeast and hops. Flavor is very nice. Hits your tongue with the liveliness of champagne and explodes with dry hops, yeast, light citrus, wheat and spices. Finishes incredibly dry. I didn’t get as much sweetness as other people did. Fun to try something this out of the ordinary, but still - not something that wowed me overall. BeerSlacker (34), Ontario, Canada
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Sep 29, 2008 Small bubbles, excellent head retention with Belgian lace. Effervescent head, with fruity nose - think strawberries. Touch of alcoholic heat at finish. Fruity body, but not overly sweet. Bit of dryness at end as well. Grovlam (3809), Copenhagen, Denmark

God display of lacework. Cloudy golden color. Aroma was quite complex with notes of strong fruit and yeast, citrus, spice, champagne, mild alcohol, caramel, nuts, peach. Full bodied with a lively carbonation and mild alcoholic sparkling texture. Heavy sweet flavor with mild acidic and maybe a hint of bitterness. Lingering sweet spicy finish. Wow very nice! Clear golden look with lots of bubbles crealing a bubbling white head. Fruity yeasty aroma along with alchohol and dusty hops. Refined belgian blone flavors along with the champagne notes creating a refreshing and interesting drink.
