2006 Michael Jackson commemorative bottle. Shared with Bartzilla and others. Super fruity, sour aroma, which was odd because there was no sourness in the flavor. It was sweet, spicy and extremely dry and bitter. The Saaz hops were almost overwhelming. Im all for hops, but these Saaz hops just seem to linger and linger. Pretty good beer, but in very very small doses. I had to have a Tecate after this just to get the bitterness out of my mouth.

pours with a huge stable white cloud-like head, easiest perfect appearance score ever ... lots of nice and interesting flavours ... yellow gold colour ... smells of a hefe-tripel champagne mix ... shocked to find out it is 11% ... ’here kitty kitty’ ... an extremely enjoyable beer, worth $25 , i don’t know, good stuff though..

VERY strong blondish ale. I had this at the Beer Passion weekend in Antwerp and this beer forced me to take a break, it is easy to drink...very complex and refreshing, but also 11 percent.

Poured a hazy golden color with a medium sized white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of skunk, cellar, citrus fruits, tangerine, apricot, spices, and hay. Taste of toffee, toast, grass, a bit more skunk, white pepper, some alcohol, and a dry, spritzy finish.

[1467-20080531] Bottle. Bit of sourdough bread aroma. Slightly hazy, light orange brown body with a medium foamy white head. Sweet boozy malt flavour has fairly heavy yeast. Medium body is quite boozy. Fair.

750ml bottle (Gallows Bird, Helsinki) shared by Mirjukka - thanks!
Subtle hoppy aroma. Succulent but very crisp palate - managed to trivially cut through everything else I’d had that evening, which was plenty. Re-invigorated my tastebuds too. It’s very hoppy, but not in the American way. It’s incredibly subtle and crisp. Made some very very good Danish beers at SOPP taste positively mediocre. Sublime, one of the most thrilling beer-drinking experiences I’ve ever had. Strength through subtlety and balance. Wonderful.

Bottle, thanks to CaptainCougar. Hazy yellow, bubbly with tight white head. Slightly funky overripe fruit nose, bananas and rotten apples, sweet bread. Flavor is sweetish but not cloying, thanks to mild bitterness, lively pinprick carbonation and somewhat dry finish. Great aperitif. Beer make Joe hungry.
