pintbypint (2830) - Edmonton, Alberta, - JUN 8, 2008
750ml corked, green bottle. Best before date is 01/012009. Pours pale lemon yellow, hazy. Two fingers worth of airy but sticky foam on top on first pour, settles slowly to a fine tight bubbled layer on the surface, some creamy lacing. Yeasty, faintly funky aroma with sweetish honey/lemony notes. Fairly hoppy in the mouth, citrusy notes, sweet malt, some funk. Crisp, dry finish with some yeast aftertaste and some lingering grassy hops. Super bubbly, effervescent, medium body. 11% alcohol remains well hidden. Great presentation, only sticky point about this beer is it’s price, but I can justify it every now and then.

Shared a 750ml bottle at Pub Italia with Chopz. Pours an insane amount of foamy, frothy white head. Has a hazy golden appearance. Thick dirty and sticky lacing. Aromas are citrusy, notes of yeast. Flavours are good mixture of earthy and citrus hops, quite yeasty, bready malts. Has a pretty bitter mouthfeel, mainly in the finish with a tiny bit of tartiness on the palate.

Metalchopz (2557) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 11, 2015
Shared with PaleAleRider at Pub Italia. Best before date is 01/08/2015 with a 11% ABV. Pours a cloudy yellow colour with a warm cap, great retention and some foam lacing. Smooth Belgian yeast aromas over bread malts, mild spices and lemon citrus notes. Nice bitterness and very light tarty mouthfeel. Flavours of beautiful fruitiness with grass and hints of sugar. A very nicely-balanced Belgian Ale that is worth savouring... taking your time.

0,7 l bottle shared Appearance: A golden body with strong bubbles. On top there is a very big white head. The head colapses with quite some lacing. Aroma: grainy malts, fruity esters, some lemon and honey. Taste: moderarte sweet grain, fruits, honey, herbal-grassy hops. Medium body, strong carbonation, boozy feeling (not there in the taste.) Champagne beer ? Well it copied the carbonation and the fruityness with the hidden alcoholic boozy part, but aart from that the taste is just another Belgian Ale.

tlind2 (1244) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAR 2, 2015
Bottle. Cloudy golden color, fizzy white head. Pleasant and fairly mild aroma with notes of flowers, butter and a cellar. The flavor hides the high ABV and comes out as an easy-going Duvel. Medium-full body, medium-high carbonation. Nice, though not quite in the league of Deus Brut des Flandres.

kermis (6550) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - JAN 1, 2015
Bottle shared at Rootz. Pours slight hazy golden with lively Champaigne bubbles and a big bubbly white head. Aroma of yeast, caramel, malt and light fruits. Flavour is over moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with lively prickly Champaigne like carbonation.

TET (1989) - FINLAND - DEC 31, 2014
A golden, strongly bubbling beer with a very big and blond head. The nose has grainy malts, fruits, some lemon and honey. Taste has grain, fruits, honey, herbal-grassy hops, strenght of alcohol but without taste. Medium+ bodied, strong carbonation that is slightly bubbling in the mouth. There is something luxorious but still slightly blend, I was expecting more.

PriorL (2488) - Gent, BELGIUM - DEC 31, 2014
Bottle at S&G tasting. APPEARANCE: clouded blond beer, nice stable white head. NOSE: caramel, rather sweet in general. TASTE: sweet, candy sugar, too old sample maybe? Score is given as for a young sample though, had this before I started rating. (this sample was expired for 2 or 3 months)
