Pours a nice clear golden yellow with massive soft carbonation, intense beading, and a long lasting fluffy tight white head. Aroma is doughy, fresh pils malts, lightly floral and estery with some restrained phenolic spiciness. Light yeasty flavors, with tons of doughy fresh pils malts, super smooth sweetness, light nuts, herbal hops, and a clean lightly hoppy finish. Smooth as hell, and some of the softest yet intense carbonation ever, with just a touch of alcohol at the end. Very refined, and so different from any other belgain strong ale. This is great stuff. The aroma is lovely; sweet, citrus, nuts, and peach. The flavor is very dry, fresh, and very carbonated. It has some notes of caramel and a dry hoppy yet sweet aftertaste, that lingers for a long time. Dalle (1146), Skørping, Denmark

Wheat, fruit/citrus, spices (pepper, coriander, ginger), herbs (thyme?), dough/yeast --- complex!. Dry and very intense. New years eve complete... Rastacouere (5565), Montréal, Quebec, Canada

Enormous white head keeps climbing the glass sides instead of going down and this lasts for a good 2 minutes. Aroma is desert-dry, very floral and yeasty. It does smell spritzy. Wild fruitiness (apples, pears, orange, apricot). Superb soft mouthfeel, bubbly, smooth with every bubble tickling the tongue. As soon as it enters the mouth, the barnyardy and hay compenents get transported everywhere in the mouth. The dry bitterness hits immediatly and develops in a complex manner during the long finish. It didn’t seem all that complex in mouth though. No alcohol gets felt ever, but this is warming all the way through. A masterpiece of the brewing art. Smells fresh and a bit champagne-like. Hints at gym-sock, bitter apple skin, sweet apple skin, green grapes, cotton candy. Sweet but dry. More apple on finish with a hoppy spice. Magnificent beer. fomentateur (110), Chicago, Illinois, USA

The flavor is light with a slight malt character balanced with hints of oranges and pears. The bubbles dance across my tongue leaving a clean finish and a slight after taste of fresh fruit. corby112 (782), philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA

Extremely quaffable considering the high ABV. Crisp fruit flavor of grape, apple and pear, champagne yeast with a nice creamy texture. Excellent!
