3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle (from the november 2005 RB-tasting at Dixens place - notes have been damaged by flooding of my basement, but this was such an insane tasting for me as I was new to such massive tastings, so I gave up on the detailed notes quite early). Acidic - can’t read anything else...

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Fast neutraler Geruch, etwas hopfig, minimal malzig. Leicht herb und überraschend mild ist das Bier. Später wird es herber, leider auch alkoholisch. Das leicht hhopfige Aroma bildet den Abschluss eines etwas langweiligen Bieres.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
750ml bottle (Helsinki Beer Festival 2011) - shared by (poirotti) Frank - a thousand thanks Frank!
6+ Light and fruity aroma. Gentle, but still most pleasing.
4 Hazy ornage, very large tight persistent head.
7+ Choc full of light grains, all so soft and subtle.
4 Mellow palate, pleasant carbonation. So smooth, no sharpness. Finish, again, just loads of mellow light grains.
15 I’m not normally a fan of these more champagne-styled beers, but this is done perfectly for the style. One of the mellowest full-flavoured belgian ales I’ve had. Great one.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bright, light yellow colour. Sweet aroma. Well balanced flavour, a little sweetness, a little spiciness (clove).

3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Light lemony aroma. Chalky blonde in color with a strong white head. Sweet, but lighter and lemony. Refreshing, a great summer beer.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
bottle@ZBF 2011:lot of champagne yeast/flavour, look, structure (meaning too much carbonation for a beer) but with some sweetness, zesty, dry fruits, honey, wheat & slightly bitter ending, noticeable alcohol in the finish, better than Deus but still not really getting the Champagne beers

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
[3/6/11] Bottle at ZBF 2011. Slightly hazy golden with a frothy white head. Aroma of yeast, alcohol and fruits. Sweetish flavor with a tiny bit of acidity and a drier, spicy, alcoholic finish. Too much alcohol in the flavor.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Excellent champagne beer that apparently they stopped brewing. I’m very glad to have tried this when I could.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
75 cl bottle. + point for appearance. Appearance: Straw golden, white but not dense head, sticky lacing. Nose is discrete, but reminds of white wine. Biscuit and bread aroma. Half sour half bitter taste, but quite neutral. Carbonation is medium to low.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Slightly sour pils-like aroma. Taste is similar to the aroma. Carbonation does not add much to the taste and does not seem to fit well with it.
