Draught Small, very fine off-white head over unclear yellow beer with orange sheen. (Root)spices, wood and liquorice, dry malt. Dry indeed. Grassy, herbs. Faint maltsweetness in the finish, good balance. Medium bodied, gristslickness. Not bad. Not spectacular. But professional.

Bouteille @ 4de Gentse Bierfestival.

17/VIII/13 - on tap @ 4de Gents Bierfestival - BB: n/a (2013-775)

Little cloudy yellow to light beige beer, creamy white head, little stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: fruity touch, citrus, some exotic fruits. MF: soft carbon, light to medium body. Taste: some citrus, grassy touch, bit of grains, nice bitterness. Aftertaste: grains, sourish (wheat?), dry bitterness, some alcohol noticeable (which means it’s pretty thin), little watery, hint of yeast bitterness.

Draught @ Kafé België, Utrecht. Aroma is mild with citrus. Flavour is slightly tart with soapy citrus and some orange. Also some grassy hops occur after some sips. Finishes somewhat empty - the flavour is short. Straightforward and simple but rather refreshing. Pairs well with hot evening at Utrecht.

Sampled draft @ GBF 2013. Hazy murky citrus look, not the prettiest with little white head. Smells like citrus air refresher, cleaning agents, some sweetness, light yeast, touch malts,… Taste is citrus air refresher, cleaning agent citrus, touch hazy, bitter hay, touch grass, sweet yeast. Touch higher carb. & hazy body. Meh… Thx! to the RB Crew for sharing.

Tap at Cafe Briljant, Harlem. Poured a hazy light straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is dry yeast leading to a medium bitter flavour with some weak liqourice on the watery palate. Somewhat refreshing but needs more complexity in the flavour.

Tap @ Kafe Belgie, medium sample. Slight hazy pale yellow color, medium creamy white head. Aroma of slight peppery yeast, bit fruity, slight flowery. Bit dry in taste, slight fruity sweetness as well, soft bitterness. Medium to high carbonation, thin body. Easy drinker. Decent sessionable Malheur stuff.
