Poured into a solo cup during a game of flip cup. Of course it wasn’t used for the game, but I am not sure about the color. Aroma is citrus, orange peel, pine, hops, mild spice. Flavor is mild for being a whopping 10%. Good body, full and airy, some carbonation. Not too bitter. Gets better as it warms.

750 ml. Cloudy golden body. Frothy white head. Aroma of toasted grain, clove, alcohol, spice, floral hops, candy. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes moderately sweet and moderately bitter, a bitterness that lingers well into the finish, but not enough to balance the malt’s sweetness. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. The alcohol and the sweetness dominate both the nose and the flavor.

Sampled at a STL tasting - Pours hazy yellow with a white head. The aroma has malty sweetness, fruity Belgian yeast, some piny hops and and overall richness to it. It has a medium / thick body with soft frothy carbonation. The flavor begins with heavy malt, spice, mild hops and fruity/earthy yeast notes. The finish really shows the alcohol contained in there.

Aroma is nothing to write about, the taste is spicy, sweet, bitter with a little sour taste on the swallow. Good ABV, nice strong Belgian ale.

750 cc from Craft Ale House, and I absolutely cannot believe this one has only 9 rates, as Gary at Craft has had it for 6 months. At any rate, on to the review, punks! Pours turbid bright gold with huge, fluffy white head. Nose is big funky yeasty pale malt, hops, florals. Tastes funky, yeasty, floral, spicy, dry hoppy. Finishes complex, with dry florals, hopcitrus, white peppery and coriandery spice, orange marmalade, and a yeasty finish.

DocJitsu (902) - Florida, USA - DEC 25, 2013
Pours a cloudy yellow-golden with a gigantic, soap sudsy, extraordinarily stubborn, white head. Spicy, fruity, bready nose. Wet texture, with some mild burn in the carbonation. Bread, sweeter fruit, yielding to tarter lemon, some mild zinc, and finishes pretty cleanly. Complexity is respectable in this brew.

Aroma of earth and yeast. Pours a hazy bright yellow with white ring and no lacing. The taste is slightly sweet. Yeast, bananas, and some earthiness. Medium-light and moderate carbonation. Overall, very well crafted and very enjoyable. Thanks to Kim for sharing.---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy golden pour with a thick dense head like a meringue. Massive amounts of lacing. Aroma is sweet pineapple and lemon, yeast, and spice. Taste is lemon, candied pineapple, pepper spice, and yeast. Alcohol is completely concealed. Soft carbonation. Really nice beer. One of the nicest looking beers I’ve had.

JDBaker11058 (1242) - Maryland, USA - DEC 7, 2013
Appearance: thick, hazy golden pour with a big, creamy white head that reluctantly shrank to a thick cap. Aroma; honey, lemon zest, pear juice, green apple skins, champagne, and some yeasty spice. Taste: citrus and floral sweetness, with honey, yeast, some cereal grains, and light booze. Finish: sweet and floral, but as it warms, a slightly astringent bitterness becomes more prominent. Notes: This was quite a nice beer for a December night of videogames and pizza. Poured into a Duvel tulip, split with Zoltan. Creamy palate with alcohol reasonably well-hidden for a 10% beer. Bottle from the Rare Beer Club.
