3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Ar: Sharp roasted malt, char - some burnt coffee, and cocoa powder.
Ap: Dark brown, opaque - small mocha head with medium-low retention - leaves a thing ring of foam with a film of bubbles.
T: Lots of charcoal and burnt coffee up front, and semi-sweet - medium-high bitterness with a herbal note - cocoa powder and coffee on the finish.
P: Medium body with high carbonation - finish is dry.
O: Tasty dry Irish stout - very true to style, bold and sharply roasty without becoming acrid, and a firm bitterness.

12 oz. bottle, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma of oats, light roast, and a touch of cocoa. Flavour brings out oats, metallic notes, and light roast. Quite full-flavoured, if not a bit thin on the mouthfeel. Solid stuff.

@ Eddan: absolut ingen doft. Smaken är ganska tunn med kanske några små arrak-toner men då är jag snäll. Detta är inget att hänga sig upp på.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled July 16, 2013 (2.5 months old).
Appearance: Pitch black body with a tall and viscous brown head. The head has good retention and settles into a frothy full coating.
Aroma: The aroma has a coffee and cocoa presence, it leans dry, but is fragrant and enjoyable.
Taste: The flavor is a bit muddy, but thereís certainly a roasted coffee and chocolate presence with an earthiness about it. The finish is rather quick and semi-dry.
Palate: Creamy and soft, rather thick.
Overall: I really want to like this, I am impressed that there are people in Israel brewing stouts and other beer. Thereís nothing ambitious about this, itís a cut and dry stout, and a decent one at that. This is pricey, but itís from Israel, itís had to travel quite a way.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottled on 16.7.2013. Nose of heavy coffee and rich dark chocolate, occasionally fruity bursts of plum, a smooth and sultry appetizer! Pours deep dark brown-black with a dark brown head. Taste very, very dry, some light burned notes under waves of lovely, gentle dark roast; thereís some chocolate and medium-heavy coffee, but the whole thing is utterly velveteen and huggable. Low bitterness, clean, soft full body with low carbonation. This is the best of their three Iíve had, by far.
