11.2oz bottle from Crossroads Spirits. Poured a pure black color with a thin creamy cocoa colored head. Aroma of dark chocolates, light roasted coffee, caramel, and some herbal notes. Taste of dark chocolate, roasted coffee beans, nutshells, caramel, and burnt toast. Didn't know what to expect from an Israeli shelf turd, but was a pretty solid beer.

Dutch Ratebeer Meeting Baarn. Black appearance, brown head. Coffee, chocolate and malts in aroma. Bitter flavor, even more so in finish. I quite liked it.

Bottle shared at the Gunnar tasting at CBC Clerkenwell care of ChrisO. Opaque dark black, thin tan head. Nose is lactic, milky, dark chocolate, black coffee, minerally. Taste is wow, really rich, cocoa nibs, cocoa powder, dark chocolate, slight black coffee. Very rich pure dark chocolatey. I love this!

Ooh, Israeli beer! Havenít had too many of those. This one pours jet black with huge head, though the head really isnít that super thick and disappears rather quickly. There is a strong barley aroma offset by heavy carbonation which adds a citrus flavour to it, so itís not as deep or stable as it really could or should be. The flavour is strong milky barley, nice and meaty, somewhat sweet, but simple. Lacking complexity. A solid stout, but nothing is here that would propel this brew into the stratosphere.

0.33L bottle, small head that dissapears very quickly. uniform opaque black colour, aroma of charred wood, dark chocolate and whiffs of smoke, charred wood dominates the flavour with hints of dried fruits and dark bread, almost completely dry. feels quite fat and silky, long bitter aftertaste. Quite impressive.

Surprisingly solid stout. Pours a pure black with a thin beige head. The nose is sweet and robust with dark choc and oat notes. Nice heavy and robust flavour. Good bitter finish.

Bottled July 16, 2013 (2.5 months old).
Appearance: Pitch black body with a tall and viscous brown head. The head has good retention and settles into a frothy full coating.
Aroma: The aroma has a coffee and cocoa presence, it leans dry, but is fragrant and enjoyable.
Taste: The flavor is a bit muddy, but thereís certainly a roasted coffee and chocolate presence with an earthiness about it. The finish is rather quick and semi-dry.
Palate: Creamy and soft, rather thick.
Overall: I really want to like this, I am impressed that there are people in Israel brewing stouts and other beer. Thereís nothing ambitious about this, itís a cut and dry stout, and a decent one at that. This is pricey, but itís from Israel, itís had to travel quite a way.

Bottle. Dark cola colored with a thin mocha head. Aroma is chocolate and dark fruit. Taste follows and adds a light roasty note. Thin and sticky mouthfeel. Really tasty.

Dark black. Dark tan head. Quite dry. Strong coffee at first but it goes away very quickly.
