2.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
11th September 2012
Cloudy gold beer, little white head. Light crisp palate. These Aramis hops are bitter bastards! Astringent and grassy with a little licorice and aniseed. Bitter bitter crisp finish. A little malt sweetness - well buried. A spot of Mallinsons soap as well. Too bitter!

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask conditioned handpump Malt Shovel Northampton 02/01/13. A golden coloured beer with an off-white head and lace. Stingy and slightly citrus hops. Spritzy, zesty and with a bitter finish. A typically good Mallinsons golden if not a bit of a restrained hop flavour wise.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hand pulled at the Wellington, Birmingham. Perfect description of this, in the review below mine: slightly earthy, slightly woody. A herby, grassy, faintly bitter fruit. Feels a but perfumed. Perfect for sunny weather.
