Brewed using Brewers Gold bittering hops and lots of Nelson Sauvin hops for aroma. Gold appearance with a fruity citrus hop nose, bitter grapefruity citrus hops in the mouth with a long citrusy bitter hop finish.

500ml bottle conditioned: poured into a UK pint sleeve at home on 24th Sep 2015. As usual, shared with no one. A little sediment left the bottle, so I got a misty golden pour, the head a full and deep white blanket of bubbles. Yeasty, farmyard like aromas along with a citrus over smell. The taste was also on the yeasty side with less farmyard and more citrus notes that got stronger and more intense as the tasting/drinking progressed. Pleasant enough and refreshing, one of the better beers I have had from Mallinsons.

Cask @ Flower Pot, Mirfield. Paler golden colour with a creamy head. Hopped with a dry fruitiness. Very much a light tasting session ale.

4.7% Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. This cloudy yellow-golden coloured beer pours with a massive foamy head. It has earthy, grassy and slight floral citrus flavours with a tropical fruit and peppery hop finish.

500ml bottle. Pours slightly hazy amber with a good white head. Aroma is zesty orange and pepper. Heaps of grapefruit flavours, slight peppering, some grass. Hoppy grapefruit bitterness predominates, not allowing for much complexity but I like the flavour a lot regardless. Medium bodies with a slightly slick and oily mouthfeel.

A golden bitter, good without being special, its just a little bit of, ’have i had this beer a thousand times?’ Nice a touch fruit. a touch of hops, a little bitter, nice but nothing to chase after.

Cask, Peterborough Fest 13. Golden with an off white foam. Aromas are grassy grapefruit with light green pine and lemon. Nutty with spices. Flavours are bitter pine with grapefruit and herbal notes. Leafy with nutty notes and a dry, pithy finish. Low biscuit malts with spices. Nice.

Bottle 500ml.

ABV: 4.7%. Light unclear medium yellow colour with a small, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, grass, orange - citrus. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, citrus, hoppy, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. Crispy, dry and delicious. ;O) [20130216]

Pithy grapefruit nose. Murky bottle condition golden haze body with a consistent white bubbly head. Slick vibrant bitterness with a limey and pieney edge initially. Conditioning kicks in for a breadiness and creaminess to disguise sweet resin drips before a very dry bitter pith finish.

Bottle, Marksman Tasting, Edinburgh

Hazy orange - gold beer, little off white head. Semi crisp palate. Mild lactose in the creamy malt. Nice hops in good balance. Nice fresh orange - tangerine, whisper of grapefruit. Finishes softish and semi dry. Just a whisper of Mallinsons soap this time around. Pretty good.
