Cask @ Angel, Manchester. Black with a thick creamy/frothy head. Initially itís not too chocolaty, with a more thinnish dark malt taste, but itís certainly more evident in its aftertaste. Nevertheless itís a fairly easy drinking stout with a light texture for this style.

Bottle. Oily black beer with a filthy tan collar. Decaying leaves, cocoa, ashtray, burnt vanilla on the nose. Good soapy hop under Neopolitan, bitter chocolate, Fryís and burnt nut notes. Makes me think of After Eights and after dinner coffee. Kind of festive I suppose.
